A competition constantly conditionated by electrical problems that have slowed down the race of the World Champion in charge of "Production" who got a second place overall with confidence to continue to fight in order to achieve the world title again.
Great feeling with Emanuele Inglese, arrived at his side at the last minute. Now the mind is projected towards the next match in Finland in August.
Mikolajki (Poland), 5th of July, 2015 - Max Rendina has concluded today the 72nd Rally of Poland, seventh round of the World Rally Championship, in second position of the league "production”, behind the andorran Carchat.
Flanked by Emanuele Inglese, on Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution N Group Pirelli's MotorSportItalia, Rendina turned in a race all uphill conditioned from the start by electrical problems which have heavily affected his overall performance especially revealing difficulties with the power supply.
Considerable evidence of strength and character demonstrated both by the crew (Rendina immediately re-found an important feeling with the co-pilot after a long period in which they did not run together) and by the entire team, never scratched in hardening by the difficulties in the field, always going in search of the intended aim: climb the ranking!
The second place in Poland, has assured Rendina and Inglesi to get back on the provisional podium of the championship in third place with 55 points, behind leader Linari (68 points) and the second, French Folunon (58)
Great interest arouse among professionals and among fans due to the presence on the Lancer Evolution of the Italian Army logo, an initiative with which Max Rendina and the whole team wanted to pay tribute to the Italian soldiers who defend and honor the Italian flag with their work, fighting for the others and trying to promote peace in the world. Just giving evidence at any time of the competition of loyalty and strength the "mission" of Rendina and English in Poland has thus been inspired by those values that our soldiers defends and put before everything in any daily situation.
Max Rendina's comment at the end of the commitment in Mazury: "four days of true suffering to accomplish this Poland Rally despite the difficulties that gave us the electronics for the duration of the tests. We organized and fought, with determination we managed to achieve the second position. These are times in which it is right to thank all my team regardless of their role because they gave their best in this appointment in Poland. Also, many thanks to my partners and especially to the Italian Army which brought me luck in this difficult race. Last but not least, thanks to all who made us feel supported, we will see in Finland to fight and try to win the title.” Max Rendina's next step will be the rally of Finland, scheduled for 30 July through 2 August.
